Rubbersidewalks modular paving
is installed in more than
20 states throughout the nation, and the
number of cities and homeowners
increases every day. Rubbersidewalks
are most commonly used adjacent to invasive tree roots. They
are
modular, and maintainable,
and therefore contribute
to the preservation of the urban forest, which keeping tires
out of landfill.

Rubbersidewalks, made of 100%
recycled tire rubber (11 pounds
per square foot), in their original
version, are made with solid-state
color plus polyurethane. This
is the good old-fashioned method
of molded rubber product.
For three years Rubbersidewalks, Inc. has been working to conquer the two biggest
problems facing use of the product: Life cycle, and fading color.
After three years, RSI has developed a proprietary top-coating surface that redefines
the meaning of a molded rubber product:
SAFETY-ALL™ is a specially
formulated high performance 88% solid VOC compliant
polyurea non-skid color stable aliphatic coating. It
has superior elongation for performance on molded recycled rubber product, hydrolytic
stability, UV stability, and color retention.
Safety-All™ is
applied to Rubbersidewalks’ pavers in the factory, or can be applied to
existing on-site pavers.

| Safety-All™ does
not fade and will maintain its color indefinitely. It provides
superior non-skid performance. Most importantly, Safety-All
looks exactly like concrete--which is the gold standard of
urban sidewalk paving. |
Safety-All™ was
introduced several months ago in San Francisco on a trial basis,
and is the preferred material in the state of Washington, where
heavy rainfall creates unsafe walking conditions.

Safety-All is applied with roller or hopper spray.
